What is an Inner Circle?
An Inner Circle is a group of 10-14 non-competing business owners who act as one another’s advisors and serve to accelerate the learning curve associated with managing and growing a company.
Each group meets monthly for three to four hours. Currently there are over 80 participants in six separate Inner Circle groups. Members represent diverse industries including manufacturers, service companies, professional firms, consultants, and technology. Please click here to see a complete listing of the industries in which Inner Circle members belong.
Each meeting begins with a general roundtable where any member may bring up a current issue, problem, or opportunity for discussion. The second half of the meeting is focused on one IC member who presents his or her Vision Quest. The Vision Quest is not quite as formal and comprehensive as a business plan, but the exercise contributes greatly towards the member charting a course, validating that course on a regular basis and either sticking to it or changing it as needed. During this presentation, the Vision Quest presenter gets in-depth feedback and answers to both strategic and tactical questions and issues they have.
