Paul Riecks

As the owner of Inner Circle Mid-Atlantic since 1988 – a company that brings business owners and entrepreneurs together to share ideas and solutions for running a business, Paul leads groups in a monthly, confidential setting, to discuss their goals and issues to gain insight and honesty.

Paul brings more than 40 years of management experience to the table. As Senior Vice President of Equitable Bank, he was responsible for development and marketing of 35 financial products and managed three start-up bank subsidiaries in insurance and data processing. In addition, Paul was manager of Equitable Bank’s strategic planning program.

As a graduate of Washington College Paul holds a B.A. in Political Science and History. He is also a graduate of the Bankers School at the University of Virginia and of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Rutgers University.

Media credits include being a panelist on “Money Matters” — a televised financial information show. He writes a regular column in Baltimore SmartCEO and Washington SmartCEO magazines and has been published by The Baltimore Business Journal and penned his book: Running Your Own Company: An Entrepreneur’s Field Manual.

Paul has served the United Way of Central Maryland, the board of Junior Achievement and The Bryn Mawr School. He also served on the Advisory Board of The Merrick School of Business at The University of Baltimore. Paul facilitated a number meetings between member nations of the Southern Africa Development Community that led to their economic union treaty and the adoption of additional projects.

Paul is married, has two daughters and a son and enjoys playing the piano, golf, walking and watching as much baseball as possible.
